About Me

Hi, my name is Caleb Ward and I love golf. My plan is when I graduate from high school to go to Golf College, but if I am really good at golf to go pro and fulfill my dream as a pro golfer. But not all dreams can happen that quickly, some take time and then come true.

My dream is to do something with golf.  I have had that dream since 2006, 2 years after I moved from Pocatello, Idaho to Ozark, Missouri. I got a set of golf clubs from my neighbor and that’s when golf began to become a dream of mine. I am now 17 and have 2 years of high school left so my time of being a teenage home school kid are coming to a close, but I still have time to keep on working on my golf and fulfill my dream. So I hope from reading this "About Me" you want to learn more about me and my love for golf.

My love for golf is not only to go pro, but to share my love for the game of golf with others. I love golf so much I eat, breath and think golf 24/7.  I love everything about golf, not just playing.  I like to test clubs, check out new courses, watch the Golf Channel and look up stuff about golf.

The purpose of this blog is to help beginner golfers and juniors fall in love with the game of golf. I want to help them learn and understand the game and to become better golfers.  It is my goal to share how to get started playing golf, instruction and coaching and even have a little fun (bloopers to come.). 

For the past 4 years my dad and I have gone to the Price Cutter Charity Championship here in Springfield, MO.  I love watching the pros play each year and the opportunity to watch many of them qualify for the PGA Tour.  It is my dream to be there one day and I would love to have a chance to help others accomplish this same dream or just to have a love for the game of golf.
